Adventure
Project Details
I made a 2-3 minute adventure level inside of Unreal Engine 5 using blockmesh/blockout for a month. My whole level is a farm-styled level, it begins with a field of corn (changed to wheat), that has a path through it with fences around you. Then brings you to a barn that you have to figure out how to get through, which leads you to a treehouse with a bridge. The bridge connects you to a house you can explore, out to a road that’s halfway blocked off. The next month I updated my blockmesh with actual assets. For revision control I used the program Perforce to help me back up our work and revert back to a previous version if we had to.

Level Flow
Start
At the start of my level, I made a field of wheat, and windbreak in the background.
I placed powerlines & scarecrows as breadcrumbs to guide the player into the barn in the background.

Middle 1
Inside of the barn I setup lanterns as breadcrumbs to guide the player to the room thats locked. Since it's locked there's crates that you have to jump on to get into the room that leads to the basement.

Middle 2
The 1st photo is behind the door that leads to the basement in the 2nd photo.
For the basement I have a hole in the back corner that brings you back outside, but you need to pick up the ladder that's on the ground to climb out the basement.

End 1
This is inside of the house, as you can see i created a Valve, the stairs are slightly broken so you can't go back upstairs.

End 2
This is the front porch of the house, I made a dirt path that leads to the road. I put a grass line in the middle to make it look like a car has drives on this path often.

End 3
This is end of the level, the road has a blocked off section because of a fallen tree. So it forces the player to go the opposite way.
