Project Details
This is one of my first solo games I've ever created.
This is a roguelite level adventure game that you explore through procedurally generated dungeons, fight monsters/bosses, and gain rewards to get to your next level.

Character Selection

I designed a character selection mechanic that allows players to choose their character before entering the dungeon. Each character has unique stats, including speed, dash speed, maximum health, a primary weapon, and a special ability.
Dash Mechanic

I developed a dash mechanic that enables players to move quickly and grants temporary invincibility against damage from spikes and enemies. The dash lasts for around half a second. To prevent spam & overuse, I implemented a cooldown system with a display at the top of the screen, allowing players to see when the dash is available again.
Boxes/Crates

Nearly every room contains breakable boxes that the player can smash open. On destroy, each box has a chance to spawn an item, such as a health pickup, a coin, or sometimes nothing at all.
